International Ballistics Society
Dear Author,
You are about to submit an extended abstract of 1-2 pages for the 34th International Symposium on Ballistics. After completing the file submission, you will receive a short message confirming the successful submission of the abstract file.

The abstracts will be reviewed. If accepted, the authors should receive an acceptance notification by 30 November 2024. The acceptance message shall enable the author to have a more continuous work flow for the formal paper and allow to start the clearance process for the paper early if required.

Authors do not have to register yet for the symposium. Registration details will be emailed later and will also appear on the IBS website at http://www.ballistics.org.

Deadline for Abstract submission (for ISB only) is 11 October 2024.

All abstracts must be unclassified and cleared for public release. Abstracts should be up to 2 pages long (including any appropriate references). 1 page is an ideal length. The abstract should contain the paper title, authors and organizations. Please note that the abstracts are not published. A figure and/or table are fine if they help to explain your paper. Important references should also be listed.

If your paper is intended for publication in a journal (Defence Technology) then you must still submit an abstract here (see the website www.ballistics.org for further details). The deadline for full paper submissions for Defence Technology is 10 November 2024.

If you have any problems uploading your abstract or wish to make changes to it then please contact Clive Woodley, membership@ballistics.org.
