|26th International Symposium on Ballistics Announced|
The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) announced plans today for the 26th International Symposium on Ballistics.
The National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), in conjunction with the International Ballistics Society (IBS), announced today that the 26th International Symposium on Ballistics will be held in Miami, Florida September 12-16, 2011.
The official call for papers will be released in May 2010. Abstracts will be due by 26 November 2010. Papers to be submitted for review must be submitted in full to the JAM website by that same date, and simultaneously be submitted as abstracts to the 26th ISB.
Jack Riegel, President of the International Ballistics Society, stated that the co-chairs of the conference have been selected. They are Dr. Ernest Baker, US Army ARDEC, and Dr. Douglas Templeton, US Army TARDEC. “We are very fortunate that Dr Baker and Dr. Templeton have agreed to serve as chairmen of the next U.S. conference. Both of these gentlemen have made outstanding contributions to the ballistics community. Their willingness to serve as co-chairs demonstrates their continuing commitment to advance the international ballistics community.”
