Secrab becomes first Platinum Corporate Sponsor Prof Bo Janzon, President of Secrab, and a member of the IBS founding Board of Directors, showed his support by paying $1000 USD to have his company become the first Platinum Corporate Sponsor. Professor Bo Janzon, founder and president of SECRAB Security Research, is a founding member of the International Ballistics Society and its Founding Board of Directors. Dr. Janzon was also a founding member of the International Ballistics Committee in 1993, the Chairman of the 13th International Symposium on Ballistics held in Stockholm, Sweden, and the Chairman of the International Ballistics Committee from 2005 to 2008. Dr. Janzon had a distinguished career at FOA, now FOI before retiring and forming SECRAB. He is also Professor (h.c.) of Ballistics at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China, and Adjoint Professor of Energy Technology at the Mälardalen University, Västerås, Sweden, specializing in research on High Energy Materials and Processes. As Chairman of the International Ballistics Committee, Prof. Janzon was instrumental in moving the committee towards the formation of the International Ballistics Society. Dr. Janzon has also taken on the responsibility to provide for the publication of peer-reviewed articles to further enhance the ballistics community.
